What is the Fitness Mad Resistance Tube?

Fitness Mad Resistance Tube is a must-have for anyone who can’t make it to the gym, or prefers a private workout. You can choose any from light, medium and heavy resistance tubes to build up your strength and liven up your training session. We have also included a user guide containing 10 easy to follow exercises for a more creative fitness challenge. The resistance tube is lightweight and small enough to store away but durable to take to class and hook under plastic aerobics steps.

What material are the tubes made from?

All the Fitness Mad Resistance Tubes have a multi stranded rubber core with a protective nylon sleeve. The outer casing prevents the possibility of snapping or breaking which can sometimes occur with latex tubing. The rubber also provides natural and progressive resistance. To allow for comfort, our tubes are connected securely to soft foam covered handles.

How do I know which resistance tube to use?

Beginners should start with the light resistance tubes and move to medium or heavy tubes as you become an expert. You can also use all the 3 tubes, as the added resistance of the combined tubes works muscles harder to speed up the toning effect. Alternatively, warm up with the lightest tube before moving on to a more creative and intense workout with the medium or heavy tube. After each set of exercises, when your limbs feel like they’ve had about enough, push yourself further by completing another set using a lower resistance tube. Ice cream reward is optional.

Wow! 3 in 1. I wasn’t quite sure which to use but I mix up my routine by doing harder exercises with the strongest tube and warming up and cooling down with the lightest. There’s a lot of variation that comes with this handy combo.

The lightest is still tough enough to get a great workout from. When I’m feeling brave I step up to the medium, which also feels smooth when doing hard, twisty moves.
