Chantelle Houghton loses over a stone ahead of Ultimate Big BrotherAdded on 25/08/10 Author: James Congdon – Editor
Ex Big Brother winner and current Ultimate BB house mate, Chantelle Houghton has a lost an impressive stone in a matter of weeks. It’s fair to say that reality TV and in particular, Big Brother, is very much image orientated. Bar the odd exception, contestants use the show as a platform to launch a celebrity style career so it’s little wonder that the majority will want to look their best for when they enter the infamous house. Chantelle Houghton posed little exception last night sporting a new, freshly toned figure. The 27 year old model claims she lost an entire stone in a matter of weeks and it’s little wonder the now brunette from Essex looked chuffed as she came face to face with ex husband, Samuel Preston. Mistaken for being pregnant The bombshell claims her epiphany moment had been when she was mistaken for being pregnant after developing a rounder tummy. Houghton signed up to the No.1 Boot Camp in Norfolk where none other than previously troubled Kerry Katona had shed an impressive amount of weight just 12 months earlier. At 5’7, Chantelle had previously weighed 10st 12lbs and was a size 14. She’s now a size 10 and looks good on it. Stringent routines Houghton does however emphasise just how hard she had to work to achieve her slimmer figure. She told reporters ahead of a photo shoot last week that she had undertaken a seriously tough exercise regime and a stringent eating plan. The beauty is said to be chuffed with her new frame, telling reporters “'My body’s not perfect but I’m so much more confident. It’s fantastic to be able to buy a dress that I like rather than one that hides my stomach.” It would seem that Chantelle has achieved her target weight with a balanced diet and exercise. It’s of course unrealistic for us to expect to lose as much weight in such a small time frame and it’s important we remember that the boot camp she attended would have cost a small fortune. It is however, possible to lose enough weight to reach our goals, through a well planned, healthy eating and exercise plan |
