5 Weeks to Your Perfect Bikini Body! Week 1

 Have you booked your big bank holiday break yet? It’s only 5 weeks to go! More importantly -are you ready to reveal your bikini body yet? If you still don’t feel bikini ready and don’t really know how to change your body in a month, you’re in the right place!

 Over the next 5 weeks I will guide you through my Express Weight Loss plan which will help you achieve your dream bikini body in time for spring break. Follow my simple rules and you will lose weight, shape up and get ready to show your body in dresses, small tops and even your bikini. Don’t worry, you still have around 30 days to transform your body. Don’t waste another minute, start now!

This week:

Get rid of toxins. If you want to have perfect bikini body you need to start with detox. The more sugar, salt, caffeine and other toxic substances we take in, the more we crave them. That is why the first few days are usually the worst. Try to consume as little sugar as possible: give up the sugary syrup in your daily latte, it may not taste as nice but it will be much better for you. Try to reduce your general coffee intake to one a day or swap for green tea. Add half of a squeezed lemon to your bottle of water and drink it throughout the day to replenish fluids. 

Drink plenty of water. Some say that 1,5 a day is enough. Well, bikini body trainers say: “Drink twice as much!” Especially if you are physically active during the day.

Take supplements – this is the right way to prepare your body for a healthy diet. If you are motivated and ready to change your eating habits and work on your perfect abs, you need to remember about supplements like vitamins and minerals. But most importantly of all - fish oils. Start early in the morning with a glass of water and two tablets of fish oil. Repeat the same thing in the afternoon. Forget what it says on the package that 1 pill a day is enough. That is true, but not for people who cut off carbs from their diet. Your body is used to eating carbohydrates and taking them away will play havoc with your hormones. So be ready before you start working on the bikini body of your dreams.

Healthy diet – it's necessary for perfect abs. Start slowly by cutting off carbs from your meals. This week try to limit carbs and only have them in the morning: porridge, natural oats and seeds with organic yoghurt and fruit. Scrambled eggs (fewer yolks than whites) or egg omelet with vegetables and wholemeal toast (but good quality, not the supermarket one) is a nice breakfast option. During the day have fish or meat with vegetables. I know it’s painful but resign from rice, pasta, chips, potatoes. Leave those guilty pleasures for Saturday...

Start exercising – let’s be honest: there is only 5 weeks to go. This means you need to be active 5 times a week. But don’t worry, it’s not as scary as it sounds. For the last few days we have had amazing weather – use it! You don’t have to spend every evening in the gym. Put your trainers on and go for a run. Your best option is interval training: walk for two minutes, enjoying the sun and then run really quick for one minute. Repeat this routine of walking and running for 20 minutes. Walking lunges or body weight squats in the middle of the training will shape up your bum. Finish with plank exercises (start with 30 seconds) and stretches. Go to the gym 3 times a week for an intensive session with weights. If you’re trying to get rid of a muffin top and bingo wings stay clear of the cross-trainer! Warm up, have 45 minutes training with the weights and stretch in the end. The whole session shouldn’t take more than 1 hour. 

Make sure you’re getting enough sleep! You will need plenty of energy to shape up your bikini body.
