Instant slim fixes!

If your summer holiday has come round quickly and you’ve left it too late to blitz your belly or firm your thighs by dieting and exercise there’s no need to panic. With a little know how, and a few clever fixes you can look slimmer almost instantly!

Here are our top tips to look slimmer in seconds.

 

1. Before getting into your bikini be sure to fake tan. Darker colours absorb more light, so appear smaller. No wonder your little black dress makes you look and feel so good…..

2. If you’re planning on rocking out bare legs, invest in a nude pair of heels to match. By matching your shoe colour to your legs, your legs appear longer and thinner.

3. Bin your Breton t-shirts and invest in vertical stripes. Horizontal stripes are unflattering and make you look wider than you are. Trade horizontal stripes for vertical to instantly slim your figure.  And the thinner the vertical stripe, the thinner you’ll look!

4. Load up your blusher brush to sweep the stones away! A bronze blusher makes you appear slimmer as darker areas of skin look like they recede backwards.  So brush a bronze hue under your cheekbones, along your jaw line and under your chin to slim your face.

5. Make your bones stand out by applying a highlighting cream to your collarbone, shoulders, the front of shin bones and any other areas you want to slim.  Lighter areas of skin make the rest of your body part appear smaller and thinner.

6. Part your hair on the side to instantly slim your face, as a centre parting instantly adds pounds to your body. If you’ve got a round face, you should also avoid flat hair as this will make it seem rounder than it really is.

7. Strategically placed accessories can really draw attention away from areas of your body you’re unhappy with. If you want to slim chubby cheeks try wearing a pair of dangly earrings as they instantly elongate your features and make your face appear slimmer. 8. To elongate your neck and make your face look thinner pile your hair into a chic up-do. Make sure you create height at the crown by backcombing, or spraying dry shampoo into your roots as this automatically draws the eye upwards and lengthens your face.

9. For those who are pear shaped, V-necks are a style staple. They lift they eye towards your upper body, and away from your problem areas such as your bottom or hips. If you’re blessed with large breasts however, be careful of deep v-necks as these can make you look slightly trashy.

10. Structured underwear lifts your breasts and can vanish away the pounds in an instant. However, make sure you get fitted properly to make sure you’re wearing the right size underwear. If you choose a size too small this can dig into your skin, creating rolls and make you look bigger than you really are.

11. Slimming pants can instantly hold in tummies, slim hips, thighs, and waists and even lift bottoms! The best news of all is that they don’t create a visible panty line, so no one else will ever find out your slimming secret.
