The scales have finally moved!Welcome back to my wedding weight loss diary followers! I don’t know about you, but if you’re anything like me and you spend your days rushed off your feet, it leaves very little time for planning your meals. As a result, healthy options are often out of the window, as is the exercise regime. After my last slip up I sat down and made a long term weight loss plan with a list of healthy meals and ingredients. I’ve since developed my own eating routine, which has made it easier for me to stay strictly on the diet bandwagon. I now do a weekly shop and plan my menus a week in advance, all of which are super quick and healthy to make. I also like to make a big batch of soup on a Sunday and freeze it so I have lots of grab and go lunches ready for work. This has stopped me snacking at my desk. Cycling to work has also been great exercise, and I’ve really noticed the difference in my muscle tone since I started. The other day, feeling brave I even mustered up enough courage to weigh myself on my new super, high tech scales that Dan bought me as a pre-wedding present (how romantic lol) and was over the moon when it told me I’d lost 6 and a half pounds- that’s almost half a stone! It even has this clever function that shows you all the information that relates to your weight in a graph, and you can connect the scales display to your laptop and save and print your result. How cool is that?!
Little sister, or to the rest of the world Rachael Blatt is in charge of the hen night because I quite frankly, don’t have the time. I have made her agree with a few simple rules however: No inflatable phallus shaped objects will be making an appearance on the night. I felt quite strongly on this as the in-laws are invited, and I want to spare the blushes. Anyhow, I’ve been told the hen do is a surprise; all I know is to be ready next Saturday at 9am for a mini bus to pick me up. I don’t even have to pack as Rachael is worryingly packing for me. Hmm, I must say it does make me a little suspicious. Maybe I’ll try pestering my mum for some info..? Anyways, I’ve also made her promise that whatever she has organized they’ll be no cakes, sweets, biscuits or crisps involved. She said that there will be plenty of healthy snacks available for me to choose from but that for this week I need to keep my energy levels up. I mean honestly, it’s like the krypton factor- I guess I better start taking those vitamins again in preparation because I don’t want to come down with a cold or something. Anyways, I’ve got to run I’ve got an appointment with my personal trainer to get to. I’ll fill you in with proceedings as soon as I know myself! Kelly x |
